Quiz Results Page: How to Build One That Actually Sells

Quizzerfy · · 5 min read

A quiz results page should do two things in order: show the visitor you listened to their answers, then make one offer that follows from them. Everything else on the page gets in the way of those two jobs.

Why do quiz results pages fall flat?

You spend a week on the questions and an evening on the ending. The visitor answers eight questions about their situation, and then they get a badge, two generic lines and a button that reads Buy now.

To them it feels like a form that ended in an ad.

What does a weak result cost you?

This is the point of highest attention in your whole funnel. The visitor has invested time and told you what they want. Then the page gives them nothing that reflects it, so the trust you built on the way there is gone at the moment you ask for money.

You also waste what you collected. You know their level, their goal and what they already tried, and the page says none of it back.

What should a quiz results page include?

Six blocks cover it, and they work in this order.

Block What it does
Headline Names their result in plain words
Reflection Says back what they told you
Diagnosis Explains why they are where they are
The offer Presents one product as the next step
Details Covers the price and what they get, in short bullets
Button Sends them to checkout

Take them one at a time.

Headline. Name the situation, not a score. A line such as “You have the audience, but your offer is the gap” does more than a number on its own. On a scorecard, show the score as well, then say what it means.

Reflection. Use what they answered. If they said they have two hours a week and already tried a course they did not finish, say so. This is the block that shows the quiz was real.

Diagnosis. Give them one useful insight they can use even if they do not buy. Keep it to a short paragraph.

The offer. Pitch one product. Explain why it fits this result in particular, using their situation as the reason.

Details. Show the price and three to five bullets. Keep the outcome-specific bullets at the top.

Button. Use one call to action, and write it for this result. Start the plan says more than Buy.

Should every result get a different page?

Yes, if the pitch changes. Two outcomes that only swap a sentence should be merged into one. As a rule, a funnel needs two to four distinct results, and each should say something the others cannot.

Here is how that can look for a course.

  • Ready: direct pitch, with the price and the button up front.
  • Close: the same product, with a note about what to do in week one.
  • Not yet: an honest no, with a free next step and an email to stay in touch.

Plan your not-yet page with care. It tells people your yes is real, and it keeps a good relationship with a future buyer. Our how to make a quiz funnel guide starts by writing these outcomes before any questions.

Should you add a discount on the results page?

Only if it suits the offer. A discount can give someone a reason to decide today, but it can also teach your list to wait. If you use one, keep it tied to a result and make it true: no fake timers and no invented deadlines.

How do you track what a results page does?

Add UTM tags to your links, then check clicks by outcome. In Quizzerfy, the button keeps your UTM tags and adds the visitor’s outcome and answers to the link, so you can trace which result sent the click.

Pro shows CTA clicks and the outcome split, so you can see which result gets clicked and which does not. If one outcome gets plenty of visitors and few clicks, rewrite that page first. Ultra can A/B test outcome pages on real visitors.

How long should a results page be?

Long enough to make the case for this person, and no longer. The quiz has already done much of the work a sales page normally does, since the visitor knows the pitch is about them. You rarely need to repeat your whole sales letter.

Match the length to the decision. A low-priced template can sell with a few lines and a button. A course or a coaching program may need more detail on what is inside and how it works. If a buyer needs the full story, link to your sales page from the result.

Put the main points where people will see them on a phone. Many visitors reach your quiz from a social link, so read each result on a small screen before you publish. Trim anything that pushes the button far down the page.

How does this work in Quizzerfy?

Each result has its own headline, personalized copy, price, bullets, optional discount and a button to any checkout: Gumroad, Stan, Kajabi, Lemon Squeezy, Payhip or your own.

You can write those pages by hand, generate them from your sales page, or rewrite one with AI for 1 credit. If your own AI writes them through MCP, no credit is spent. Then walk each path in the preview to read each result the way a visitor will.

For working pages, play a template. The Launch Readiness Score shows how a scorecard result points at the weakest area. The Product Finder shows how a result sends someone to one product. Plans are in the pricing section.
